Formed in Colorado in 1990, PSYCO DRAMA emered onto the Colorado music scene after the disbandment of the very popular local bandFOOLISH PRIDE. PSYCO DRAMA quickly continued the momentum left off from the previous band and forged on to create an edgier sound and a broader fan base. As Progressive Metal began to dominate the Colorado music scene, PSYCO DRAMA continued to tour and perform across the state often with other Colorado Progressive Metal acts JAG PANZER, THE QUIET ROOM, THE DARK, SLIENT REIGN, and YOUR MOTHER'S NEXT.
PSYCO DRAMA quickly established themselves as a musical force to be reckoned with, being named one of the Top Ten unsigned bands in America in 1993 by Concrete Marketing, and performing at that year's Foundation's Forum convention. In 1995, PSYCO DRAMA released their first demo, which sold over 3000 copies, and garnered them praise from all over the globe, including Sentinel Steel, which stated that PSYCO DRAMA "...display U.S. power metal at its finest!"
